Pursue Jesus

The ESV Study Bible was designed to help you understand the Bible in a deeper way.

Extensive study notes, charts, maps, and articles make this study Bible a valuable resource for serious readers, students, and teachers of God’s Word.

Using the free YouVersion Bible App, participants will be able to read the Bible together in 2022.

Each day there will be a passage to read (about 1 chapter a day), occasional devotions, and a place for participants to share (if they wish) what God is speaking to them.

Join us as we pursue Jesus and grow together through God’s Word this year!

When we read the Bible the way it was designed, we discover a unified story. The Bible Project app is a reading journey that equips you with the skills to see the larger story of the Bible, every time you read.

There are multiple ways for you to join as we pray for our church family, our community, the nation, and the world.

“For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”

– Isaiah 57:7

Celebration of Discipline

Hailed by many as the best modern book on Christian spirituality, Celebration of Discipline explores the "classic Disciplines," or central spiritual practices, of the Christian faith. Along the way, Foster shows that it is only by and through these practices that the true path to spiritual growth can be found.

The Common Rule: Habits of Purpose for an Age of Distraction

The modern world is a machine of a thousand invisible habits, forming us into anxious, busy, and depressed people. We yearn for the freedom and peace of the gospel, but remain addicted to our technology, shackled by our screens, and exhausted by our routines. But because our habits are the water we swim in, they are almost invisible to us. Habits form us more than we form them.

Men's Huddle

Connect with other men Sundays at 9:45am in Room 114 as we dig into the Scriptures together.

Women to Women

Enjoy the friendship of other women as we study God’s word on Sundays at 9:45am in the Gathering Space.

How to Study Your Bible (coming this Fall)

One of the most important skills you can develop as a Christian is how to study your Bible. The Bible is our source for understanding who God is and how to live like Jesus. In this class, we'll walk through a method of studying the Bible that will help you make sense of what it is saying and help you connect God's word to your life. Join us Sunday nights as we pursue Jesus together as we learn how to study God's Word.

Life Groups

We believe a strong church body is built on a foundation of smaller gathered communities. We call these Life Groups.

Life Group Summit

For everyone already in a life group, and those who want to join one this year, you're invited to our first annual Life Group Summit on Saturday, October 1. The purpose of this event is to give direction, set expectations, connect with others, and equip leaders.

Having professed faith in Jesus Christ, we invite you to become a member of Riverwood. We ask that our members support Riverwood by giving of their time, spiritual gifts, and finances according to biblical teaching. We ask our members to pray for Riverwood and continually seek to develop their relationship with Christ. We commit to walk alongside all members in their spiritual journey and ask our members to hold each other accountable and let us know when they hear of a need in our church body.

Completing a Discover Group class is a prerequisite for membership.
