Kids Lesson
Kids Ministry Resources
We want your family to stay connected to Jesus during this time of social distancing. Here are some tools from Gospel Project that we use to teach the children on Sunday mornings. There are lots of opportunities and ways to teach the children about the stories we are learning. We have included resources on this website for you to interact with.
Sunday School Tools
- The big picture question lasts for several weeks in a row that covers a basic truth about God. During that same time, we encourage the children to memorize a key passage that is relevant to the big picture question. This will also be the same for several weeks in a row.
- The Bible lesson includes the Bible story and activities to engage with this week’s truth.
- The activity page includes highlights from the Bible story and a picture puzzle.
Unit 29: The Early Church
Context: The church is God’s plan to bring praise and glory to Jesus. Through the church, the gospel goes beyond Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria to the end of the earth.
Big Picture Question: What is the church? The church is all Christians everywhere, who gather together in their communities to worship and serve God.
Key Passage: Romans 12:5

Gospel Project Blog: The Good News
The Good News
Story Point: God sent Jesus into the world to rescue sinners.
Christ Connection: Because God created everything, He is in charge of everything. Everyone sins, or disobeys God. Our sin separates us from God. The good news of the gospel is that God sent His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment we deserve. Everyone who trusts in Jesus will be saved.
